Overview
The CIS Security Benchmarks division is pleased to provide U.S. Federal Executive and Independent agencies with an opportunity to use its security benchmarking, configuration assessment tool, and metrics resources for a limited time at no cost.
This offer is available through funding CIS has received from the U.S. Department of Defense.
The Center for Internet Security (CIS) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the cyber security readiness and response of public and private sector organizations, with a commitment to excellence through collaboration with all stakeholders.
Since October 2000, CIS’s Security Benchmarks division has provided organizations with consensus best practice standards for security configurations, as well as resources for measuring in formation security status and for making informed decisions about security investments.
Use of the CIS Security Benchmarks resources can help improve security posture, assist with compliance and reduce information security costs.
